Overview

Goliath Grower Services is hiring a forklift certified Seasonal Garden Centre Receiver to support busy garden center operations during peak season. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor retail environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for unloading flower and plant orders from delivery trucks, receiving and tracking inventory, and helping set up product displays in the garden center to prepare for sales.

**Forklift certification is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely offload flower, plant, and garden center product orders from delivery trucks using a forklift

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and product condition

  • Track inventory accurately and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages

  • Assist with organizing and setting up product in the garden center for customer sales

  • Maintain clean, safe, and efficient receiving and storage areas

  • Support merchandising and product movement as needed during busy periods

  • Follow all workplace safety procedures and equipment handling standards

Qualifications
  • Valid forklift certification required

  • Experience in shipping, receiving, inventory, or garden center operations preferred

  • Ability to lift, move, and organize plant and garden product shipments

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with inventory tracking

  • Comfortable working outdoors and in a physically active role

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
