Applicants are assessed and placed in an inventory, which hiring managers can draw from when a suitable vacancy arises. This process helps speed up hiring and ensures that qualified candidates are readily accessible. Typically, candidates remain in the job inventory for a set period and may be contacted for interviews as positions match their skills.
