T&M Services

Des Moines, IA โ€ข On-site

Full-time

Job description

Role Type: Full-time, Field Leadership

At T&M Services, we install commercial furniture and workplace environments across the region. We are looking for an experienced Installation Foreman to run job sites, lead our field crews, and serve as the main point of contact for clients and contractors on-site.

If you know how to read floor plans, lead a crew by example, solve problems on the fly, and take pride in turning over a clean, high-quality project, this role gives you full ownership of your job sites.

What You’ll Do

  • Run the Site: Lead installation projects from daily kickoff to final client sign-off. Verify layout drawings, manage crew pace, and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Client & Site Relations: Act as the primary on-site contact for furniture dealers, general contractors, and facility managers. Keep communication proactive, professional, and clear.
  • Problem Solving & Scope Management: Address site variances or layout hurdles practically to keep work moving. Identify work requested outside the original scope and document change orders on the spot.
  • Lead the Crew: Set the daily work pace, support installer development, and maintain high standards for safety and job site organization.
  • Support Market Leadership: Take operational weight off our Market Managers by keeping job sites running predictably without needing constant supervision.

What We Look For

  • Field Experience: 3+ years in commercial furniture installation, commercial carpentry, trades, or field logistics.
  • Crew Leadership: Proven track record of running teams on physical job sites with a lead-by-example approach.
  • Technical & Business Skills: Ability to read blueprints/drawings, use mobile job-tracking tools, and recognize scope changes.
  • Clear Communication: Comfortable walking job sites with clients and managing contractor relationships face-to-face.
  • Requirements: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Why T&M Services? We are a stable, growing $10M regional company with 100 field team members. We offer solid structure and resources while keeping our leadership team accessible and lean. We trust our foremen to run their sites, support them with the right tools, and recognize quality work.

Ready to lead on-site? Drop your resume or send us a quick summary of your field leadership experience. We move fast when we find the right fit.
