Role Summary
The Cost Analyst is responsible for sourcing and validating supplier pricing to support telecommunication network sales quotations. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners to gather accurate cost data, ensuring timely delivery of quotes. The position plays a vital role in maintaining competitive pricing strategies and supporting operational efficiency within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain supplier pricing for customer quote requests in accordance with specified requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with service providers, members/owners, carrier partners, and last-mile providers to secure accurate and timely pricing data.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate costing information within Salesforce and other quoting tools.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Wholesale Support, and Carrier Relations teams to facilitate the quoting process.
  • Support quote tracking, reporting, and operational tasks to enhance efficiency.
  • Review service specifications and supplier responses to ensure clarity and accuracy.
  • Follow up on outstanding pricing or information requests to meet deadlines.
  • Analyze pricing discrepancies or conflicts and resolve issues as needed.
  • Document all communications and costs systematically for audit and reference purposes.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvements related to costing and quoting procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in telecommunications, sales support, or related business environment.
  • Proven experience reviewing service requirements and obtaining vendor or supplier pricing.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical and pricing information accurately.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously within strict deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to identify and resolve conflicts in data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM and quoting tools preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, finance, supply chain, telecommunications, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent education and experience will be considered.
  • Valid driver’s license and availability to work in a hybrid environment.

Publishing Pay Range: $25.00 - $27.00 hourly
