With rapid growth and operations across the U.S., we're driven by performance, innovation, and impact.Our mission: to deliver measurable results that strengthen national defense and empower those who serve.Position SummaryParadigm Max Q is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with preferred experience in supply chain or performance modelling in OPUS Suite or comparable Department of Defense (DoD) modeling tools. The ideal candidate will also bring strong analytical capabilities using Power BI, Tableau, JMP, or JMP Pro to support statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and logistics performance optimization.In this role, you will design, execute, and interpret advanced performance and supply chain data that drives mission-critical decision-making for government and defense sector programs. You will work cross-functionally to uncover bottlenecks, optimize inventory and readiness strategies, and transform complex modeling outputs into actionable insights.Key ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain Modeling & SimulationDevelop, configure, and run supply chain simulations using OPUS Suite or similar DoD modeling software.Perform performance modeling, scenario analysis, and readiness assessments to support operational decision-making.Analytics, Visualization & ReportingBuild analytical dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools to support strategic insights.Conduct statistical experiments including regression modeling, performance testing, and predictive forecasting.Translate modeling findings into clear, actionable recommendations through reports, executive briefings, and decision-support tools.Operational & Lifecycle SupportCollaborate with technical, logistics, and program stakeholders to evaluate supply chain constraints and propose optimization strategies.Provide data-driven support for lifecycle logistics analysis, scenario planning, and operational performance evaluations.Maintain modeling documentation, configuration control, and repeatable analysis processes to support high-quality and auditable deliverables.Preferred SkillsPerformance & Supply Chain ModellingOPUS Suite (e.g., SIMLOX, OPUS10, CATLOC) or similar DoD-focused supply chain modeling suite.Data Visualization & Business IntelligencePower BI, Tableau, or similar Data Visualization and Dashboarding toolsStatistical Modeling & ExperimentationJMP, JMP Pro (Preferred), Minitab, or similar Statistical Modeling software experienceProgramming & Data ManipulationPython, R, Tibco, Databricks or similar data processing toolsRelational Database experience (MS SQL Server, MySQL, SAP Hana, PostgreSQL or similar) to include writing complex queriesExperienceQualificationsBachelor's degree or 9+ years of relevant experience in Data Science, Data Analytics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or related field.5+ years of experience in supply chain modeling, operations analysis, or performance optimization utilizing data tools in modelling, visualization, statistics, and data manipulationStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.Active Secret Security Clearance required.Preferred QualificationsOPUS Suite (e.g., SIMLOX, OPUS10, CATLOC) or similar DoD-focused supply chain modeling suite.Experience supporting DoD clients or federal supply chain programs.Familiarity with SDVOSB or small business government contracting environments.Background in lifecycle cost modeling, readiness analysis, and performance measurement frameworks.Experience in artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML), particularly as applied to analytics, modeling, or decision-support systems.Benefits Statement: Paradigm Max Q provides eligible employees with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; life insurance; short-term and ‑long-term disability coverage; a 401(k)-retirement plan; paid time off (PTO) for vacation; and company ‑paid‑ holidays.
