Job Summary:
KBRโ€™s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the countryโ€™s most critical role โ€“ protecting our national security. KBR is seeking a mission-level combat modeler to join their team, where you will make recommendations regarding military utility and feasibility based on mission-level modeling and simulation.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Utilizing studies and analyses, specifically a strong background in mission-level modeling and simulation, the analyst will make recommendations regarding the military utility, feasibility, joint warfighter impacts of the concepts and capabilities under study
โ€ข Ability to coordinate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives
โ€ข The analyst will work as part of a contractor team working alongside a broader team of government and contract staff
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, or an Engineering discipline
โ€ข 5+ years of experience
โ€ข Experience conducting modeling, simulation, and analyses with AFSIM
โ€ข Experience in DoD space and/or joint force programs
โ€ข High motivation, creativity, and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
โ€ข Ability to work well as part of a team
โ€ข Strong quantitative and analytic abilities to integrate and analyze data
โ€ข An active TS/SCI clearance
Preferred:
โ€ข Master's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, or an Engineering discipline
โ€ข Experience with more highly aggregated, campaign-level and/or defense enterprise-level analysis tools
โ€ข Experience with Python, OptDef, MATLAB, R, SAS, JMP, and/or Java
โ€ข Experience with data transformations and data visualization
