Job description

TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a pediatric emergency medicine physician to join our team at the JFK Medical Center Pediatric ED in Edison, NJ. This leadership role offers an opportunity to guide clinical excellence, mentor physicians, and collaborate with hospital leadership to deliver outstanding pediatric emergency care. JFK University Medical Center in Edison is a core academic medical center within the Hackensack Meridian Health network. We are currently accepting applications from physicians who are board certified in pediatric emergency medicine.

Opportunity Overview
  • 14 private ED pediatric beds
  • EMR: EPIC
  • 24 hours pediatric emergency medicine physician coverage per day
  • 10 hours of pediatric advanced practice clinician coverage per day
  • Pediatricโ€‘trained nursing team
  • Full pediatric and specialty support

Competitive compensation with an estimated base salary of $190 to $220 per hour with an opportunity to earn incentives.

Qualifications
  • Boardโ€‘certified in emergency medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or pediatrics (ABP)
  • Completion of a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship
  • Specialty certification in pediatric emergency medicine
  • Prior leadership experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to clinical excellence, patient care, operations and education
