Background
A group of visionary philanthropists established the Jewish Community Foundation (JCF) in 1949, because they understood that the well-being of our community depended upon planning for and investing in our future. The Jewish Community Foundation is a wholly owned subsidiary of Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ and serves as its planned giving and endowment department.
Today, the Jewish Community Foundation is one of the largest managers of charitable assets in New Jersey, and among the top ten Jewish community foundations in North America. Currently, we have more than $840 million in assets under management, and more than $100 million in future commitments. We currently manage more than 822 funds for individuals, families, and foundation donors.
Our foundation professionals work hand-in hand with donors to create personalized plans for meaningful philanthropy. We focus on short and long-term goals to ensure maximum and sustained impact. The professional team supports donor-advised funds, advisory councils, and supporting foundations.

This position is responsible for delivering exceptional, relationship-driven service to donors and fundholders of the JCF. This role oversees areas of administration, stewardship, and strategic support of Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs), custodial funds, supporting foundations, and related philanthropic vehicles, ensuring a seamless, compliant, and values-aligned donor experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and administer JCF's grantmaking software, including coordination with external developers.

Experience and Skills Required:
Candidate should have the following experience and qualifications:
  • High level of comfort learning new technologies, with the ability to become a subject-matter expert and train or support others.
  • Demonstrated expertise with grantmaking and donor-advised fund (DAF) platforms or similar financial/philanthropic software.
  • Strong experience with data harvesting, analysis, manipulation, and reporting.
  • Proven ability to actively listen to donors, reflect on their needs and priorities, and clearly understand donor intent.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong service mindset, ensuring donors feel valued, supported, and cared for.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally, particularly between finance and philanthropic/foundation teams.
  • Experience in financial accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
