Honolulu Jewelry Company is actively seeking talent for a Fine Jewelry Sales Associate

A Fine Jewelry Sales Associate holds the critical position of embodying the Honolulu Jewelry Company brand in each and every customer interaction. The Sales and Service Professional will build Brand Loyalty by utilizing Strategic Selling skills to assist customers with purchases while providing an excellent experience. The Sales and Service Professional will explore customer inquiries and approach challenges as opportunities to achieve customer satisfaction. Responsibilities and Duties:
Deliver an excellent customer experience:
- Connects with clients in a friendly and meaningful way
- Engage customers in conversation to understand their needs and desires
- Provides clients advice and knowledge that they may not have realized they needed
- Exhibits behaviors that support client satisfaction goals such as thanking the customer for their purchase and ensuring their satisfaction
Boost sales through multi channel selling
- Educates self and client on merchandise, events, promotions, policy and services-
- Demonstrate expert styling and brand knowledge
- Present and recommend merchandise based on expert product knowledge and client preferences, regardless of department or channel
- Graciously takes returns and offers options based on clientโ€™s needs
- Takes a proactive approach to identify and recommend merchandise across all channels (over the phone, online and in person)
- Utilizes selling tools and store technology to close deals and meet sales goals across all channels
Cultivate and grow client base
- Consistently cultivates the client relationship through personalized connection over the phone and other channels (email, text etc)
- Acquires and builds client base primarily through forming relationships with new clients and retaining/building spend of existing clients
- Utilizes digital tools and social media to connect with clients, serve their needs, and follow up as necessary
- Proactively utilizes mobile devices and selling technology to communicate with clients and expand the business
Champion operational excellence
- Assists in operational tasks (actively maintains selling floor, fills in stock, keeps customer data updated in CRM)
- Act as the customer advocate between internal departments and business processing to resolve customer dissatisfaction and build enduring relationships.
Contribute to team success
- Partners with others to provide the best client experience
- Actively creates a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration
- Maintains positive working relationships throughout the company
- Proactively reach out for support when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-3 years in customer service retail experience, call center environment or college degree in Business, Marketing, - Communications
- Experience with CRM or customer database
- Sales in commission based environment
- Familiarity with website technology, website navigation and terminology associated with internet commerce
