Location: New Orleans, LA
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Wax Puller to support our jewelry casting department. This role is responsible for pulling and preparing wax jewelry models used in the casting process, ensuring production quality, and supporting the overall flow of manufacturing. The ideal candidate has strong hand dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. 

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Pull wax jewelry models from rubber or silicone molds with precision and care 

  • Inspect waxes for air bubbles, short fills, flashing, distortion, or other defects 

  • Trim, clean, and organize wax models in preparation for treeing and casting 

  • Operate and assist with wax injection equipment and processes 

  • Monitor wax injection quality, temperature consistency, and mold fill accuracy 

  • Assist in preparing molds for production and maintaining mold organization 

  • Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards 

  • Handle delicate jewelry components carefully to avoid damage 

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area 

  • Follow company production procedures and safety guidelines 

Qualifications: 

  • Previous manufacturing or jewelry production experience preferred but not required 

  • Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination 

  • Ability to work with small, delicate objects and repetitive hand movements 

  • Good manual dexterity and steady hands 

  • Ability to work efficiently in a production-driven environment 

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality 

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

 Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience with wax injection processes in jewelry manufacturing 

  • Familiarity with rubber or silicone molds and wax model handling 

  • Mold making experience is a plus, but not required 

  • Understanding of jewelry casting workflow and production standards 

  • Ability to identify common wax defects and quality issues 

Working Conditions: 

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods 

  • Ability to perform repetitive hand motions throughout the workday 

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds 

  • Comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment
