Job description

Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. Position Description:

Director of Quality in the aerospace industry provides guidance and advice on methods, procedures, standardization, and requirements associated with AS9100 across various Enjet locations located in the Midwest.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop internal measures to ensure compliance with QMS
  • Provides support to functional leadership by gathering and analyzing Quality Information
  • Works with process experts and production personnel to fully understand and provide guidance on appropriate and complete corrective actions to assure repeat deviations do not occur
  • Conducts root cause analyses and ensures root cause, corrective action, preventative action, and product impact are thoroughly addressed in investigations
  • Conducts external audits with Third Party Agencies
  • Update, maintain, and publish Audit Calendar
  • Makes recommendations for corrective action necessary to ensure conformity with quality specifications
  • Responsible to oversee the gage and calibration system and third-party calibration services

Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership, collaboration and relationship building skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills and interface effectively throughout all levels of the company
  • Vast knowledge of AS9100
  • Required travel up to 30%
