Description

Travel: Approximately 30% (domestic and occasional international)
 

We are seeking a customer-focused Field Service Engineer to support our additive manufacturing systems, including aerosol jet technology. This mid-level role is ideal for a technically capable professional who enjoys working directly with customers to install, support, and troubleshoot advanced equipment while delivering a high level of service.

Key Responsibilities

Install, commission, and validate additive manufacturing systems at customer sites

Troubleshoot and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, and software components

Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

Provide timely customer support via phone, email, and on-site visits

Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve escalated technical issues

Document service activities, findings, and recommendations

Train customers on system operation, maintenance, and best practices

Build and maintain strong customer relationships

Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience

2-5 years of experience supporting technical equipment in the field or similar environment

Experience in additive manufacturing, printing technologies, or advanced manufacturing preferred

Working knowledge of integrated systems (mechanical, electrical, and software)

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Willingness to travel approximately 30%
