Jefferson Health is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the Center for Cardiac Anesthesia at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Center City Philadelphia. This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity, collaborative cardiac anesthesia team supporting a wide range of advanced cardiac and thoracic surgical cases within a care-team model.
Job Description
Jefferson Health is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the Center for Cardiac Anesthesia at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital (TJUH), a nationally recognized academic medical center located in Center City Philadelphia.
This position offers the opportunity to practice in a high-acuity, collaborative cardiac anesthesia service supporting a broad range of advanced cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures within a care-team model.
Position Responsibilities
  • Provide anesthesia care for cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, aortic surgery, structural heart cases, and advanced heart failure therapies
  • Practice in collaboration with cardiac anesthesiologists in an academic, team-based environment
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia care in a fast-paced, tertiary/quaternary care setting
  • The department is exploring a Monday-Friday schedule starting with 3/13s, while remaining open to other scheduling options.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
  • Current CRNA certification (NBCRNA)
  • Eligible for or currently licensed as a CRNA in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Cardiac anesthesia experience preferred; motivated new graduates with a strong interest in cardiac anesthesia will be considered
  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to teamwork and patient safety
