Job Description:

  • Serve as the on-floor point of contact for WMS-related issues raised by warehouse associates, supervisors, and shift leads.
  • Analyse WMS-to-OMS/ERP/TMS interface issues (e.g., inventory sync failures, order status mismatches) and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
  • Act as the liaison between warehouse operations leadership and the IT/applications team translating operational pain points into prioritized system requests and translating technical constraints back into plain language for operations.
  • Track issue trends and proactively flag recurring problems that indicate a deeper system or process gap.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual workarounds through system configuration or process changes.
  • Support peak season readiness planning (volume stress-testing, configuration reviews, contingency planning).
  • Contribute to post-incident reviews and help implement preventive measures.

  • Strong communication skills able to explain technical issues to non-technical operations staff and operational context to technical teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build trust and strong working relationships across warehouse floor staff, supervisors, and technical teams someone people want to come to with a problem.
  • Experience with WMS integrations to OMS, TMS, or ERP systems and understanding of interface/event-driven data flows (e.g., EDI, APIs, message queues).
