Job description

Job Title

This position enters data, invoicing, and billing information into a designated data management system within the JCOD-STOP project. This position is responsible for the operational aspects of tracking and entering data following the policies and procedures associated with these activities.

Essential Duties

  • Daily data entry pertaining to JCOD-STOP and JCOD-STOP student/participant services.
  • Accurate and timely entry of Community Based Provider (CBP) service data and designated data management system.
  • The ability to provide comprehensive quality customer service to all parties at all times as needed.
  • Ensure data security as outlined in Amity Foundation approved Policy and Procedures, and fulfill duties and obligations with respect to the protection, use, and disclosure of protected health information (PHI).
  • Adhere to policies and procedures that ensure the integrity, accuracy and security of all data maintained and submitted into a designated data management system.
  • Abide by Policies and Procedures outlining release of data, maintaining appropriate documentation of participant requests for information and signed Authorization for Release of Information (ROI), if applicable.
  • Maintain an accurate Community Based Provider (CBP) directory as directed.
  • Ensure that technical and procedural best practices related to data security are upheld.
  • May participate in annual training(s) and/or meetings provided by Los Angeles County and/or Amity Foundation.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Required:
  • Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent. Minimum two (2) years data entry experience in a professional office environment.
  • Operational knowledge and proficiency with MS Office (Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Drive) and basic data entry systems.
  • Must have a valid California Driver's License and be eligible for Amity vehicle insurance.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience or familiarity with behavioral health, healthcare, and/or substance abuse program(s).

Continuing Education/Training

  • Within specified contract timeframes, personnel file shall document evidence of participation in the following trainings:
  • New Employee Orientation (Organizational and Programmatic Orientation)
  • Participation in mandatory Grantee or JCOD STOP Subcontractor Orientation
