What does a Javascript support engineer do?

A Javascript Support Engineer is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues related to JavaScript code in web applications. They work with clients or internal teams to address bugs, optimize performance, and ensure the smooth functioning of JavaScript-based features. Their role often involves providing technical documentation, collaborating with developers, and sometimes contributing code fixes or enhancements. Strong problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of JavaScript, and excellent communication abilities are essential for this position.

These skills ensure effective resolution of technical issues, high-quality user support, and smooth collaboration with development teams.

What are some common challenges faced by Javascript support engineers when troubleshooting customer issues?
