• JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team within Global Trading. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of both front-end and back-end development, with a strong emphasis on creating and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications. This role requires a professional who can seamlessly integrate into our team, contributing to the development of innovative solutions that drive our trading operations. The candidate will be working closely with Global Trading's Quantitative Analytics team to develop data products, models and visualizations.
To be eligible for this role, you must be able to demonstrate:

About you
Skills and Qualifications:
• Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
• Strong back-end development skills using Node.js, Python, or similar languages.
• Develop and maintain web applications using modern frameworks and technologies
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Experience with database management systems such as SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience:
• Experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly within trading operations, is highly desirable.

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies.
• Proven experience in building, operating, and supporting robust and performant databases and data pipelines
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems
• Solid understanding of data modelling, indexing, and query optimization techniques
• Proficient in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
• Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries (React preferred)
• Familiarity with database systems. Full-stack development experience is preferred.
• Experience with Databricks and Snowflake
• Solid understanding of web performance optimization, security, and best practices.
