We are seeking a highly skilled Technical PM / Senior Data Centre Migration Specialist to lead and execute a large portfolio of application and database migrations from one data centre to another. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of data centres, a solid technical background in various applications and databases, and exceptional communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute large-scale migrations of applications and databases between data centers.
  • Oversee application and database buildouts within the data center environment.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of data center operations and related technologies.
  • Have a good grasp of various application and database technologies, including Java, .NET-based applications, RDBMS, Snowflake, DB2, and SQL Server.
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders to align project objectives with business goals.
  • Conduct research and analysis of new and emerging technologies to assess their potential for client solutions.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and provide informed recommendations for technology solutions.
  • Participate in the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in technology and share insights and knowledge with team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in technical project management, particularly in data center migration projects.
  • Strong understanding of applications and databases, including experience in relevant technologies.
