Position: Senior Java Lead
Location: Sacramento, CA
Duration: 12+ months
Required Skills:
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years in designing and developing Java J2EE applications.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience during the last seven (7) years developing applications utilizing each of the following technologies:
A. Java APIs for XML (such as JAXP, JAXM, JAX-RPC, JAXR and SAX) for data extractions and data manipulation.
B. NIEM (National Information Exchange Model) standards for exchanging AFIS transactions with Law Enforcement Agencies.
C. DTDs (XML Document Type Definitions), XML schemas, XSLT and Topic mapping,
D. Web Services, XML and XML-based messaging protocols and technologies (such as SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, and Web Services).
E. Developing applications using Java Spring APIs.
F. Developing SQL queries for applications.
G. Development and implementation of Enterprise Applications that serve a large user base.
Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience during the last ten (10) years developing workflow management applications in support of high-volume throughput. Resources should have skills to perform tune applications.
Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience during the past three (3) years developing and deploying applications in a Linux server environment.
Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience during the last ten (10) years performing System Analysis, User Engineering and User Testing.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years in architecting, designing and developing scalable, secure Web-based applications.
Must have a minimum of two (2) years of development experience within the last five (5) years with Angular (5.x or greater) and Bootstrap front-end framework.
Must have five (5) years of experience within the last seven (7) years of performing continuous application integration and deployment using Jenkins, Git (or similar tool[s]), Sonar (or similar tool[s]), and Selenium (or similar tool[s]).
Bachelor's degree in an information technology or related field.
Desired Skills:
Experience with interfacing with and / or maintaining AFIS, strong knowledge on criminal justice applications and Bolt on Applications with very similar experience to that of the AFIS Bolt on Applications.
Knowledge and experience with Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS).
