The ideal candidate will bring experience in Java development. * Hybrid. On-site presence in Columbia, MD is required for a minimum of three days per week. There are NO exceptions. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of IT experience, or associate's degree and 7 years' experience, or high school diploma/equivalent and 9 years' experience.

* 5 years of recent demonstrable experience developing and implementing software solutions to build enterprise applications using the following:
* React
* HTML
* CSS
* JavaScript
* Spring Boot
* 2+ years of experience with using the following Java development tools:
* Eclipse
* Git/GITLABPreferred Qualifications: * 8+ years of experience developing and implementing software solutions to build enterprise applications adhering to Agile principles.
* 1-2 years' experience using Redux.
* Knowledge of database schema design, Microsoft SQL Server, Transact-SQL(T-SQL).
* 3 years of work experience with Linux/Unix shell scripting, for example:
* KornShell (ksh)
* Bourne Again Shell (Bash)
* C shell (csh)
* Knowledge of JSON Web Token (JOTS).
* Knowledge of Drools - a Java-based Business Rule Management System (BRMS).
* Knowledge of Jakarata Persistence API (JPA), Object/Relational Mapping (ORM), Spring JPA, Hibernate.
* Previous work in a large-scale Federal IT Program.
Details Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
