Job Summary:
Agile Defense is looking for a Java Automation Engineer to join a large scale national security program responsible for protecting US transportation infrastructure. The role focuses on making risk assessments and requires working within an agile team to meet demanding response times and transaction requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Agile Certification Preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for a formal degree.
• 2+ years of java development experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience/ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
• Experience with Java/JEE
• Experience with Agile Development
• Ability to independently manage tasks and deadlines
Preferred:
• Experience with any of the following preferred: JMS, XML, Angular, SQL
• Experience in a large scale Federal IT Program with high availability requirements
