Job description

Job Summary:

The application systems analyst/developer will support EMIS (Enterprise Management Information System), a legacy web-based suite serving approximately 5,000 users. EMIS consolidates data from multiple databases into a single site for reporting, analysis, and updates, and includes eight applications: ROCIT, JST, MWR, FOM, CCM, MPCS, RIPL, and XX-RCC. It extends the reporting and research capabilities of PDMSS, the USAF standard system for depot maintenance planning, scheduling, execution, and performance measurement.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, resolve, and document complexcustomer issuesviacustomer supportto implement sustainable solutions and minimize recurring incidents
  • Application development & modificationsto meet the needs of the customer
  • Identify, analyze, and document changes/requirements developmenttothecustomer, ensuring transparency, alignment, and continuous improvement
  • Support an iterative development process using Agile methodologies
  • Conduct software vulnerability scans using approved code-validation software
  • Follow configuration control and documentation procedures
  • Application testing, regression testing and integration
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • 5+ years related programming and development experience
  • Understand complex programming techniques including but not limited to programming languages, software standards, methods and tools
  • Experience with programming languages such as HTML/CSS, Java, JavaScript, SQL
  • Self-driven with the ability to manage workload without direct supervision
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to anticipate potential problems and act to minimize their impact
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • SECRET Clearance

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • 2+yearshands-on experience with EMIS applications is highly preferred

Minimum Education:

JobStipulations:

  • Must possess a current CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent IAT Level II certification
  • Must be able to work onsite at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia
  • Must be able to dedicate 8 hours between 0600 and 1700 EST
  • Must be able to obtain and keep a secret level clearance
