Job description

Job Summary:
Sonsoft Inc. is a USA based corporation specializing in Software Development, Software Consultancy, and Information Technology Enabled Services. They are seeking a Java Developer with strong experience in J2EE technologies to develop web applications and support the software development life cycle.
Responsibilities:
• At least 4 years of experience in Java, J2EE technologies with strong experience in developing J2EE based web application using server technologies including Struts, Spring, Hibernate, Soap/Rest Web Services
• At least 2 years of experience of Jboss Application server
• Experience in Telecom Domain will be strong plus
• At least 3 years of experience of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) (Waterfall & Agile/Scrum) including requirements gathering through client interaction, Design, Documentation, Development, Integration, Testing, Configuration and Production Support
• Excellent Analytical skills to understand the business process and Functionality, Gathering Requirements, application / data migration, data extraction, data load, reporting, application maintenance, application / production support and release management
• Knowledge of available tools and development frameworks
• Ability to work in a collaborative multi-application team environment
• Good communication skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
• At least 4 years of experience in Java, J2EE technologies with strong experience in developing J2EE based web application using server technologies including Struts, Spring, Hibernate, Soap/Rest Web Services.
• At least 2 years of experience of Jboss Application server.
• At least 3 years of experience of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) (Waterfall & Agile/Scrum) including requirements gathering through client interaction, Design, Documentation, Development, Integration, Testing, Configuration and Production Support.
