The Developer, Process Automation is a business professional with a technology bias and Automation Anywhere expertise that demonstrates a strong understanding of software development and business process automation. They are responsible for modernizing operations by integrating software automations and process integration across applications and systems. The incumbent will focus heavily on the technical aspects of automation and needs a strong background in programming, scripting, and understanding workflow automation tools. This role will partner closely with Business Analysts and RPA Analysts for all aspects of the automation solution implementation, including requirements gathering and process documentation, testing and deployment of RPA solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Designs, configures, and deploys scalable automation solutions using RPA frameworks and tools. This includes supporting internal and external customers through the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of automated solutions for their processes.
  • Designs and develops automated workflows, including documentation and mapping of processes and solutions for improved system integration and functionality.
  • Maintain organized and quality platform code and data. Deploys solutions and establishes monitoring to maintain bot performance, measure utilization, and identify issues.
  • Collaborates with team members and key stakeholders in the analysis of workflows, gathering detailed specification requirements, and performing testing of automated solutions.
  • Participating in functional testing independently or with customers, working with the business to document changes to current business practices and assist in process re-engineering and change management planning efforts.
  • Foster growth of the Enterprise RPA program within PDS platform and related new technology platforms.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field. In lieu of degree 5+ years of related experience.
  • 6+ years of experience, of those includes 2+ years of professional development experience in Robotics Process Automation (RPA) tools/technologies. Automation Anywhere preferred. (Blue Prism).
  • 4+ years of C#, Microsoft Technology (VB .NET, Windows, Internet Explorer, SQL Server, Web Services), or JAVA development experience and solid understanding of programming concepts.

Preferred
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or similar field of study.
  • Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Certification (Automation Anywhere, RPA Academy)
  • Experience in a multi-regional healthcare, retail, or dental company.
  • Experience with Epic EHR system or Cogito Certification
  • Experience with large ERP systems, Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials preferred
  • Advanced knowledge in REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, WSDL.
  • Experience working with API's, web services, and source control tools.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Understanding of various scripting, programming, and web development languages (e.g., C#, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, .NET, PowerShell, Python, VBA).
  • Understanding of various databases (e.g., MS SQL, Access) and database architecture.
  • Understanding of how OCR and AI/ML technologies (e.g., ABBYY, Tesseract, AWS Textract) enable RPA solutions.
  • Understanding of how web services (e.g., JSON, XML-RPC) enable RPA solutions.
  • Advanced skills in analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and maintaining application code in a variety of contexts.
  • Advanced skills in developing client-based or web-based software solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in application development, complex code development, application testing and component design.
  • Extensive experience working with process owners and business analysts to analyze, standardize and optimize business processes, translate requirements into functional/technical designs, and build robust technical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of technology and architecture concepts.
  • Self-motivated, reliable individual capable of working independently as well as part of a team
