Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Lead Java Developer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Columbus, OH, Phoenix, AZ, or Dallas, TX. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.
In this role, you will consult on and participate in moderately complex software engineering initiatives. You will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing technical challenges, contributing to their resolution, and collaborating with development teams while leveraging a solid understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Consult on and participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering
  • Contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables
  • Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet deliverables
  • Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering

Requirements:
  • 7 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Experience as a Java Developer with PowerShell or Python experience
  • Advanced SQL query writing skills
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, LDAP, C, and JavaScript

Desired skills:
  • Experience with the Bravura Security IDM suite or Bravura Password Manager
  • Knowledge of PHP
  • Information security experience
  • Experience with OCP containers, Harness, or GitHub actions
  • Strong communication skills

Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
