Role – Advanced Developer

Position Summary

Application developer to design and develop trading applications for the Bank of America MBAM (Public Finance) Front Office Technology Team.

The candidate will work in a Trading environment as part of an agile team doing hands-on full-stack development with emphasis on Java, TypeScript, MongoDB and Python. The candidate will work with traders and cross functional business groups like compliance, legal and peer technology teams.

Experience Range - 10+ years

Responsibilities:

• Create trading applications and services for use by the Desk using Java, React/TypeScript, MongoDB, Python.

• Participate in a dynamic, self-organizing, technical team environment to collaboratively drive software solutions through an agile software lifecycle.

• Demonstrate excellent communication spanning both technical and business domains.

• Apply benchmarking and performance turning techniques for the improvement of the trading platform’s end-to-end performance.

• Work with cross functional groups including business, technology, compliance, legal teams to understand and balance multiple simultaneous cross-competing demands.

• Experience with enterprise tools and technologies including MongoDB, Messaging (AMPS), Application framework (React, OpenShift, Quartz)

• Agile and Waterfall Methodologies

• Minimum 10 Years experience in Application Development

• Industry experience in a Markets Front-Office Trading environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
