Description

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Architect / Senior Java Developer to lead design and development efforts for the Environmental & Social Business Advisory Portal. This role requires strong technical expertise in Java, full-stack development, database optimization, and containerization, along with leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across geographically distributed teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java development (Java 8 or higher preferred)

• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Batch

• Strong Core Java skills

• Experience in building REST APIs (JAX-RS/Swagger/YAML)

• Experience in Web Services (JAX-RPC or JAX-WS)

• Working knowledge of security protocols – OAuth 2

• Knowledge of XML Schema and Processing Technologies (Parsers, JAXB, XSLT, etc.)

• Good understanding of Core Java Patterns and J2EE Design Patterns (Adapters, Business Objects, Delegates, Service Locator, Singleton, DAO, DTO)

• Experience with Apache and Tomcat

• Experience with Horizon tool set (Bitbucket/Jenkins/Artifactory/Ansible)

• Knowledge of build tools and processes like Maven, Ant, and others

• Working knowledge of test automation using SOA Test, Litmus, etc.

• Knowledge of Unix/Linux Shell Scripting

• Containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar)

• Full-stack development experience with strong hands-on coding skills

• Database expertise: Oracle SQL/PLSQL, schema design, query optimization, performance tuning

• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex queries and stored procedures
