Hybrid 4 days on site in either Jersey City, NJ or New York, NY
Our client seeks an Angular developer to build and maintain modular, component-based front-end applications. The role will implement clean TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, integrate with REST APIs, and collaborate with UX, product, and backend teams. The developer will troubleshoot and resolve bugs, uphold coding standards, and contribute to DevOps and change management processes. The position requires experience with Angular v18+, Angular Material, Angular CDK, and charting libraries, with a focus on UI/UX principles and sustainable application practices.

Rate: $60.00 to $62.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
  • Develop Angular v18+ applications using TypeScript with clean, efficient JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Apply UI/UX design principles to deliver accessible and usable interfaces.
  • Coordinate with backend teams to integrate and validate REST API endpoints.
  • Collaborate with UX designers, project managers, and backend developers to deliver quality features.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve debugging issues to maintain application sustainability.
  • Ensure code compliance with established company standards and best practices.
  • Create system configuration functions using a component-based architecture.
  • Perform bug triage and issue resolution in a timely manner.
  • Develop modularized or template-based implementations for maintainability.
  • Contribute to DevOps and change management workflows.
  • Work independently and lead work efforts when required.
  • Support legacy applications and remediate vulnerabilities.

Experience Requirements:
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience with Angular, including v18+ and TypeScript.
  • Experience with Angular Material, Angular CDK, and charting libraries such as Highcharts.
  • Professional exposure to Java or Python and REST APIs preferred.
  • Proficiency in modern front-end development practices and debugging.
  • Experience working in hybrid on-site teams.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree.
