Contract Duration: 18 Months
 
Job Description:

  • Serve as a Systems Integrator within the FMBO Integration Services Team, providing senior-level technical contribution, hands-on support, and technical input under the guidance of internal leads.
  • Support Azure cloud migration activities, including application and integration migration, environment design, DevOps & Platform engineering and post-migration stabilization.
  • Support the modernization and migration of MuleSoft integration flows to Spring Boot-based services, including solution design, implementation, and deployment.
  • Provide senior-level technical support for Redhat Openshift, Redhat AMQ and IBM MQ, including technical impact analysis, remediation activities, coordination with vendors, and support for testing and release activities.
  • Contribute to the support of IBM DataPower, Managed File Transfer Services.
  • Provide input and support to ensure appropriate testing strategies are in place (unit, integration, system).
  • Support production environments through troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis.
  • Contribute to and maintain technical documentation, technical design artifacts, and operational runbooks.
  • Other related activities and deliverables, as required.
 
Required Skills:
  • University degree or college diploma in computer science or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of recent hands-on experience enterprise software development including experience in a senior technical or advanced support roles
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of recent demonstrated hands-on experience supporting Azure cloud migrations and modernization initiatives for enterprise applications and integrations, including demonstrated expertise in:
    • Application and integration development
    • Deployment of solutions on Azure and Azure Red Hat Openshift (ARO)
  • Demonstrated experience with Azure networking, firewall and connectivity design, including strong security knowledge and practical experience working in hybrid (on-premises and cloud) environments.
  • Demonstrated strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot, including development of microservices based architecture.
  • Proven experience modernising or migrating enterprise integration platforms (e.g. MuleSoft to custom services).
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Openshift/Kubernetes and messaging platforms, including IBM MQ and Red Hat AMQ, with expertise in upgrades, configuration, and support for complex messaging and integration environments.
  • Demonstrated strong experience with Managed File Transfer Services and IBM Data Power.
  • Demonstrated strong experience with SQL and database skills, including performance optimisation and tuning.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with technical leads, product owners, and architects in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with GitOps and Argo CD.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated experience with Linux/Unix platforms in mixed-technology environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI related tools to effectively support complex initiatives and improve productivity.
