About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to support our in-house Legal team. In this role, you will provide both paralegal and administrative support to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant legal service delivery across the organization.
You will work closely with attorneys, business stakeholders, and external partners to support a variety of legal functions, including contracts, compliance, corporate governance, and litigation support. What You'll Do
Legal Support & Coordination
  • Provide paralegal support across multiple practice areas, including contracts, litigation, corporate governance, compliance, intellectual property, and licensing
  • Prepare, proofread, and assemble legal documents such as contracts, legal correspondence, discovery materials, and memoranda
  • Conduct basic legal and factual research and compile summaries for attorneys

Records Management & Compliance
  • Maintain and organize legal files, databases, and document management systems in accordance with company policies and confidentiality requirements
  • Coordinate records retention processes, including applying retention schedules, supporting legal holds, and facilitating proper disposition of records
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements related to document handling and retention

Licensing, Filings & Governance
  • Coordinate licensing, registrations, and compliance filings by tracking deadlines and preparing submissions
  • Maintain corporate governance records, including entity records, minute books, and governance databases
  • Support routine updates and filings to maintain compliance across jurisdictions

Audit & Reporting Support
  • Assist with audit responses and government surveys by gathering documentation and tracking deadlines
  • Coordinate submission of required materials and maintain organized records
  • Support reporting needs and maintain accurate documentation across legal processes

Legal Operations & Process Improvement
  • Support legal department initiatives, including process improvements and special projects
  • Track tasks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure timely execution
  • Identify efficiencies and opportunities to improve legal workflows

Administrative Support
  • Manage incoming legal requests by triaging and routing inquiries appropriately
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling, meeting coordination, and maintaining shared resources
  • Assist with invoice and expense processing support as needed

What We're Looking For
Required
  • 4-6 years of paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
  • Experience supporting contracts, compliance, and/or litigation matters
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat and legal research tools such as LexisNexis
  • Associate degree required

Preferred
  • Experience with:
    • Records retention and document management systems
    • Corporate governance administration
    • Licensing and regulatory compliance filings
  • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program
  • Bilingual capabilities (Japanese or Spanish) are a plus
