Position Summary


The Marketing Communications Manager is a strategic marketing leader responsible for developing and executing integrated communications that strengthen the CCIM brand, increase member engagement, generate demand for education and membership, and drive organizational growth.


Working collaboratively across Education, Membership, Business Development, and CCIM Tech, this role ensures all communications reflect a consistent brand voice while delivering measurable business results. The Marketing Communications Manager leads and develops our team of marketing professionals, providing strategic direction, coaching, and project oversight to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives, content development, and cross-channel communications.

Your Core Contributions to the Team


Marketing Strategy & Communications

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing communication plans that support company objectives, product launches, lead generation, and membership engagement.
  • Ensure consistent messaging, tone, and brand standards across all internal and external communications.
  • Create messaging frameworks that clearly articulate the company's value proposition and competitive differentiation.
  • Manage the marketing communications calendar to align education, membership, and thought leadership initiatives.


Content Development

  • Write and edit high-quality marketing content in conjunction with the Content Specialist
  • Translate complex products and services into compelling, customer-focused messaging.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop educational and thought leadership content.


Campaign Management

  • Support integrated marketing campaigns that generate qualified leads and nurture existing members and students
  • Collaborate with digital marketing to optimize campaign messaging across paid and organic social media channels.
  • Support the coordination product launches, webinars, customer events, and industry conferences.


Analytics & Performance

  • Measure the effectiveness of marketing communications through KPIs
  • Analyze campaign performance and recommend continuous improvements
  • Report communication results and insights to leadership


Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a small team of marketing professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous professional growth.
  • Establish priorities, delegate work effectively, and ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

About You


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of B2B marketing communications or association experience.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience developing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, and content marketing best practices.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, or similar).


Preferred

  • Experience in professional services, technology, SaaS, financial services, manufacturing, commercial real estate, or associations.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, SEM tools, and social media management platforms.
  • Graphic design or video production experience is a plus.
