The Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM) program team has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Cost Controls Analyst (P3) to join the fast-growing Shipboard Missiles SSBU within the Naval Power Business Unit.

This role offers a unique opportunity to support $450M+ Japan Block 2 Licensed Production award with multiple future years of expected business ($750M+).

The DCS contracts will run concurrent NSPO production programs valued greater than $2B while helping establish program controls and ensuring successful start-up execution. Responsibilities include analysis program performance, utilization of SAP (APEX/PRISM/BW), quarterly EACs, monthly forecasting including tracking variances, and interfacing with Program Management and Cost Account Managers. This program opportunity offers the ability to connect and collaborate with US based program management; and Japan based program management on a continuing basis. Successful execution and management of this program will be a key focus both internally and externally.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare weekly and monthly program reports.
  • Provide timely support for ad hoc analysis reporting to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Collaborate with key functional leaders in the Program Office, Engineering, Supply Chain, as well as Leadership Team to support financial reviews and execution of a program with significant scope.
  • Support quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) and analyze vs Latest Revised Estimates (LRE).
  • Be a trusted partner with program leadership to provide financial analysis and guidance to ensure compliant cost collection.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SAP Business Systems (APEX, PRISM, BW) or similar tools.
  • Experience organizing, preparing, and presenting information to management.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
