Job Summary

The Hospitality and Commercial Janitorial Sales Manager owns new business growth for janitorial and overnight turnkey cleaning services. You will prospect, qualify, run site walks, develop scopes and pricing with Operations, and close profitable multi-site agreements. Success requires a disciplined sales process, strong proposal/RFP execution, and confident customer-facing leadership.

Essential Job Functions

Business Development & Revenue Growth - 40% of Time

  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline; drive prospecting, discovery, proposals, negotiation, and close.
  • Perform necessary research to qualify and develop a sale.
  • Meet and exceed KPIs and established activity standards.
  • Be the advocate for 100% referenceable customers relating to all value propositions.

Deal Management - 20% of Time

  • Develop compelling proposals and lead RFP/RFQ responses; manage timelines, questions, and final submissions.
  • Maintain accurate activity, notes, and forecasting in CRM; provide regular pipeline updates.
  • Communicate pipeline stage changes regularly to sales leadership and team.
  • Coordinate contract execution and ensure a clean handoff for onboarding and launch.

Operational Alignment & Solution Design - 20% of Time

  • Partner with Operations to create accurate scopes of work, staffing plans, job costing, and margin-aligned pricing.
  • Conduct on-site walkthroughs (including evenings/overnights as required) to validate scope and service levels.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Janitorial and Turnkey within the hospitality industry.

Leadership & Culture - 20% of Time

  • Attend in-market meetings for training purposes and hospitality events.
  • Up to 75% travel to assigned markets.
  • Cultural leadership and participation.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience in commercial janitorial/contract cleaning or related facility services.
  • Proven success closing recurring-service agreements; comfort with longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Strong financial discipline: job costing, pricing, and margin awareness.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to influence decision-makers.
  • Comfort with CRM and sales tools; strong organization and follow-through.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time to assigned markets.
  • Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and must not require current or future visa sponsorship
  • High School diploma required
  • Fluency in English, bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Excellent listening, written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and customers
