Job description

The Janitor/Porter helps ensure complete customer satisfaction by moving vehicles in and around the service area/lot, maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles and the service area, delivering vehicles to customers after service is complete, and transporting customers to/from their home when needed. We are looking for a reliable person to maintain a clean and safe work environment - responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the customer areas, bathrooms, and service shop.
Responsibilities
  • Keep entire department in clean and orderly condition
  • Perform any combination of the following duties: sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming hallways, stairs, and office spaces
  • Use machinery to clean showroom floor, dust entire facility, and maintain multiple bathrooms and kitchen
  • Empty trash and garbage containers
  • Maintain minor and routine painting, electrical and other maintenance activities using hand tools
  • Move and park vehicles
  • Drive the shuttle van
  • Work schedule will be assigned from Monday to Saturday (7am-6pm) by Service Manager
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Positive attitude, can-do mentality and eager to improve
  • Previous janitorial and/or maintenance experience a plus
  • Diligent work ethic and dedicated approach to performing duties
  • Drive with care
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Employees receive health insurance, basic term life insurance, 401k, vacation, sick leave and holidays. Overtime will be approved if need.
This position is a great entry level job where you can learn about the automotive industry, gain mechanical skills, and move to other departments.
