What You Will Be Doing

The JaniTech Ops Technician (Cleaner Floater) is a key player in our day-to-day operations. You will be traveling to multiple client sites, ensuring they receive timely and quality service. You need to be flexible, as your assignments may change daily – no two days will be the same! The ideal candidate is seeking a full-time evening position, has a flexible schedule, and has a personal vehicle.

Our Ops Technician positions help cover operations in Burlington, South Burlington, and St. Albans.

Ops Technician Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Travel to multiple client sites to provide coverage for call-offs, high-volume projects, or new locations.
  • Sweep, Mop, and Vacuum floors.
  • Dust, disinfect, and wipe down surfaces.
  • Clean, disinfect, and restock restrooms.
  • Safely utilize various cleaning chemicals and solutions.
  • Empty trash bins and replace garbage liners.
  • Lock up and set building alarms after completing your service.
  • Other projects, as assigned by the manager.

Ops Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Previous janitorial cleaning experience. (Preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle. (Required)
  • Successfully pass a Background Check and Motor Vehicle Report.
  • Working knowledge of various cleaning methods.
  • Flexible availability, able to work weekends as needed.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • A positive, team-player mentality.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. – We Use E-Verify.

Ops Technician Physical Requirements:

  • Move or traverse through assigned work areas.
  • Frequent reaching and lifting.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling and squatting.
  • Ability to handle a variety of cleaning materials/substances.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
