Job description

Dukunoo Jamaican Kitchen in Miami, FL is looking for one Sous Chef experienced in Jamaican Cuisine to join our 50 person strong team. We are located on 316 NW 24th St. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and reliable skilled.

Responsibilities

  • Train and develop chefs to company standards
  • Assist Executive Chef with kitchen & staff management
  • Maintain and create new Jamaican Cuisine dishes and menus in accordance with business needs
  • Anticipate ingredient needs and arrange re-stock accordingly
  • Ensure a productive kitchen flow that upholds business standards


Qualifications

  • Experience working as a Jamaican Cuisine sous chef or chef
  • High familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelines
  • Able to delegate tasks effectively and assist when needed
  • Adaptable to high traffic and kitchen volume
