You will work in a thriving outpatient office in Sanford, Florida. The center is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities designed to enhance the treatment journey of our patients. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in improving the lives of your patients through comprehensive evaluations and treatment planning. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed patient assessments to examine movement patterns, functional limitations, and disabilities.
• Developing, implementing, and adjusting personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and ongoing assessments.
• Coordinating with healthcare providers to ensure a seamless continuum of care for your patients, providing insights and recommendations as needed.
• Documenting all evaluation results, treatment strategies, and patient progress in accordance with legal and professional standards.
• Maintaining effective communication with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and other stakeholders regarding patient care and treatment plans.
• Participating in community outreach initiatives to promote health and wellness, as well as assisting in departmental leadership activities.
• Attending and contributing to staff meetings, continuing education sessions, and in-service trainings to enhance personal and team competencies.

You will primarily engage with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and those dealing with chronic pain conditions. Your ability to adapt treatment approaches to fit the unique needs of each patient regardless of their age, background, or cultural context will be essential to your success in this role.

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Current state license in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information effectively.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer skills for patient record keeping and documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct patient assessments and develop effective therapeutic strategies.

While not mandatory, the following experiences will be considered advantageous:

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Knowledge of specific rehabilitation protocols and therapeutic modalities.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Engagement in leadership roles, mentoring, or teaching within clinical or professional settings.

Jackson Physical Therapy offers an attractive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
