Address: Jackson North Medical Center / JMG Causeway Practice

Shift Details: 8:00A.M.-5:00P.M., M-F, (Call 7 days monthly)

Position Summary

As part of the continued expansion of the Jackson Health System, the Jackson Medical Group, a growing multi-specialty physician network of over 40 physicians who practice throughout Miami-Dade County at over 7 different specialty care centers seek to hire a Urologist to develop and build our specialty practice in the North Miami-Dade County area. Jackson Memorial Hospital, Jackson North Medical Center and our multi-specialty private practices will serve as referral centers.

The Urologist is responsible for the planning, diagnostic development, management and evaluation of medical/services at the clinic/center of responsibility.

  • Provides and maintains JHS Standards towards continuous, intensive direct medical diagnosis, consultation, and health care services to JHS patients.

Education

Doctorate degree in Medicine is required.

Experience

Generally requires 3 to 5 years of related experience.

License/Certification

  • Valid Florida Medical License.

  • DEA and board certification or eligible in Urology are required. Other specialty certifications related to specialty are a plus.

  • American Heart Association(AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and (ACLS)for Healthcare Providers certification with at least 6 months validity required.
