TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a pediatric emergency medicine physician to join our team at the JFK Medical Center Pediatric ED in Edison, NJ. This leadership role offers the opportunity to guide clinical excellence, mentor physicians, and collaborate with hospital leadership to deliver outstanding pediatric emergency care.
JFK University Medical Center in Edison is a core academic medical center within the Hackensack Meridian Health network. Enjoy flexible scheduling, your choice of IC or W2 employment options, and a bonus for full-time physicians. We are currently accepting applications from physicians who are board certified in pediatric emergency medicine.

Join our dynamic group of physician colleagues at a premiere practice location that serves 20,000 pediatric patients annually!
Opportunity Overview:
  • 14 private ED pediatric beds
  • EMR: EPIC
  • 24 hours pediatric emergency medicine physician coverage per day
  • 10 hours of pediatric advanced practice clinician coverage per day
  • Pediatric-trained nursing team
  • Full pediatric and specialty support
Competitive compensation with an estimated base salary of $190 to $220 per hour with an opportunity to earn incentives.
Qualifications
  • Board-certified in emergency medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or pediatrics (ABP)
  • Completion of a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship
  • Specialty certification in pediatric emergency medicine
  • Prior leadership experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to clinical excellence, patient care, operations and education
