We Are Hiring

Location: Winchester, IN

Facility: Ascension St. Vincent Randolph

Department/Speciality: Wound Care

Schedule: Days | PRN 

What You Will Do
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized wound care treatment plans based on comprehensive patient assessments

  • Perform detailed wound evaluations, including staging, measurement, and ongoing reassessment of healing progress

  • Monitor, document, and communicate changes in wound status and overall patient condition

  • Execute physician and nursing orders related to wound treatments, advanced dressings, and therapeutic interventions

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. 
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Additional Preferences
  • 1 year of infusion experience preferred
  • Strong IV therapy and venous access skills (including difficult starts)
  • Infusion administration and monitoring (biologics, antibiotics, hydration, home infusion, oncology, outpatient infusion)
  • Wound assessment and basic wound care competency (compression, dressing selection, documentation)
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills-recognizes early changes and escalates appropriately
  • Comfortable with outpatient work-flows, time management, and quick room turnover
  • Accurate documentation and comfort with EMR use
  • Knowledge of infection prevention standards and safe medication practices
