Job Description

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Sr. Manager/Technical Lead-Observability Platforms, the Scrum Master will play a dual role as PM and Scrum Master. As a member of a diverse team, you will be a Servant Leader who helps the team achieve its goals using Rockwell's Agile SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) practices. You will help drive Agile events and ceremonies including daily team stand ups, sprint planning and quarterly Program Increment planning. You will engage with other Scrum Masters and leaders to gather information and plan shared deliverables.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead quarterly PI Planning for the ITSM portfolio.
  • Document Epics, User Stories, Tasks and Dependency details.
  • Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure adherence to Rockwell standards in Jira and Jira Align
  • Manage onboarding of vendor contracts
  • Help manage portfolio budgeting process and spend tracking.
  • Plan and communicate change management requests.
  • Coordinate implementation and delivery with internal and external teams.
  • Help the delivery teams to coordinate dependencies with other teams and communicate status of these dependencies.
  • Help team to remove any execution roadblocks.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in technology or software development related roles
  • Prior experience in a scrum master or product owner role
  • Prior experience with planning tools, e.g., Jira, Asana, Azure DevOps
  • Experience documenting requirements.
  • Experience performing QA.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
