JOB ID 23585 – Item Entry Technician

Location: Fully remote, FL

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Type: Contract to hire

Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules available
Full time: Monday to Friday: 10:30am to 7pm
Full time: Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday: 7am to 5:30p
Part-time schedules: Must be available evenings and weekends, 28 hours per week $19/hour


Job description

  1. Accurately enter prescription orders into the pharmacy processing system while interpreting prescription information in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  2. Verify patient identity, update patient profiles, and ensure all prescription information is complete and accurate prior to processing while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance.
  3. Perform quality assurance checks, including PD3Q verification, to ensure prescription accuracy before submitting orders for fulfillment.
  4. Support daily pharmacy operations by following company policies, standard operating procedures, and quality standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  5. Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain efficient workflow, resolve processing issues, and complete additional operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Employer will perform testing (math questions related to prescription fills)
  • Must be FL Registered Pharm Technician (Active)
  • Must have (1)+ years of pharmacy experience in a call center environment processing prescriptions
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Background check required
