Duties
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students both online and in person in all skill levels of Italian
- Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate students
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback in session reports to admin, parents/guardians, and teachers
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to align tutoring sessions with classroom curriculum
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
- Reliably commute from client to client
Qualifications
- Fluency in Italian
- At least 2 years of tutoring experience
- Previous experience working with students, preferably with all ages, especially early childhood
- Must be able to commute within the Broward county, FL area. Applicants who are not available for in person work will not be considered
- Knowledge of various teaching methods and techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
- Special consideration will be given to candidates who are capable of teaching or tutoring other subjects including other foreign languages, English, social studies and history, mathematics, and science
