Job description

Italian Terrazzo & Tile Co. of Brevard, LLC

Position Title: Production Coordinator

Department: Administration

Reports to: Office Manager

Position Type: Regular full-time

General Summary

This position is responsible for coordinating all material, labor, and documentation for pavers and other tile installations.


Essential Job Functions

1. Review tracking/scheduling tool to ensure materials have been ordered at frame.

2. Perform cursory review of work order against builders’ selection for accuracy including change orders.

3. Print work orders with installation diagram.

4. Upload signed paperwork to tracking/scheduling tool.

5. Coordinate material delivery for arrival prior to installation.

6. Coordinate with Project Managers to maintain schedule dates (material request dates).

7. Verify material on hand for installs.

8. Attend weekly administrative meetings.

9. Interface with other departmental team members to solve problems that cross departments.

10. Other customer service, administrative, and clerical duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

2. Proficiency in Oracle, JD Edwards, SAP, and/or PeopleSoft a plus.

3. Ability to interface with business partners and across departments.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to provide creative solutions to real-time challenges.

5. Knowledge about pavers not required, but a plus for this position.

6. Ability to multi-task.


Education and Experience

1. High school diploma or equivalent required.

2. Two or more years of practical customer service in the new home construction industry a plus.

3. Pavers industry experience a plus.


Other Requirements

1. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to operate a computer keyboard.

2. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.

3. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

4. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.

5. Travel required: negligible
