Barista / Beverage Attendant – Italian restaurant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Barista / Beverage Attendant to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing espresso-based beverages, serving coffee, cappuccino, gelato, wine by the glass, bottled water, and other beverages while providing excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced café and restaurant environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare espresso-based drinks including espresso, cappuccino, coffee, and other specialty beverages.
  • Operate and maintain espresso equipment following quality standards.
  • Serve gelato, wine by the glass, bottled water, and soft drinks.
  • Provide friendly and professional service to guests.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked beverage station.
  • Handle customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
  • Work closely with the restaurant team to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Requirements:

  • Previous barista, café, or restaurant experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of espresso preparation and coffee equipment.
