Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
• Assist Jr. IT Technicians as needed.
• Oversee the daily performance of computer systems.
• Supporting the roll-out of new applications.
• Provide support to users related to operational systems, applications and hardware.
• Support NPIs (New Products Introduction)
• Working on system troubleshooting
• Control the IT equipment inventory.
• Work with various departments on levels for project needs.
• Provide level one assistance for issues related with shop floor control systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• Degree in computer Science, IT or related field preferred with a minimum of three years plus of experience as IT support.
• Certification in CompTia A+ and CompTia Network
• Oracle database SQL experience highly preferred.
• Basic experience with Linux and Windows operational systems.
• Basic experience with in-network cabling, switches and routers.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Microsoft Office product knowledge.
• Working knowledge and skill of repairing PC’s laptops, printer/scanner setup and maintenance.
• Keep your work area daily, according to the standard of the 5S 's.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing /EMC Teams and / or FIH key principles on quality, costs, productivity and social responsibility, etc.
• Comply with and enforce the provisions of the System Management Environment, Health and Safety.
• Ensure that policies, procedures and work instructions of your work area are updated and i implemented.
• Comply with the annual mandatory training plan.
• Maintain the effectiveness of the Quality Management System according to the applicable standards.
