IT Tier I Technician
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking an IT Tier I Technician. In this role, you will be part of an IT team responsible for performing technical assistance to the Resort and Convention Center's IT systems.
As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love-by serving others with patience, empathy, and accountability. By listening first, communicating clearly, solving problems thoughtfully, and supporting both users and teammates, they create trust and deliver an exceptional service experience.
Pay Range: $25-$27 per hour
Key Responsibilities
  • Installs selected software, maintaining proper security levels and access rights.
  • Ensures the quality of systems operations in all areas of the company, by communicating with all levels of systems users and offering direction and assistance as needed.
  • Facilitates the flow of information throughout the IT Department, by attending regularly scheduled department meetings and participating in daily stand-up meetings.
  • Ensure a maximum level of service and satisfaction to all systems users is achieved and maintained.
  • Conduct an inventory of all systems on property and maintain accurate records by updating information as needed.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all appropriate software and network applications.

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred.
  • 2+ years of computer programing is helpful.
  • The ability to constantly walk and move frequently throughout a large facility and to push/pull carry and otherwise move heavy objects.
  • General knowledge of the practices and procedures of a convention center, hotel conference services, waterpark, theme park environment helpful.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with a customer-service mindset, the ability to support guests and operational teams, and a collaborative approach to working across departments and assisting teammates as needed.
