Exciting opportunity to join Qualcomm's IT Supply Chain Planning team as a Senior System Analyst, delivering critical capabilities in Kinaxis Maestro (RapidResponse) and Oracle EBS that consistently provide significant value to the global organization.

**Position requires to be in San Diego full time, 5 days a week.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyzing complex demand and supply planning business problems to be solved with technology-based solutions
- Providing technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements
- Working independently with little supervision & taking responsibility for own work
- Creating functional and technical specifications for systems to meet business requirements
- Using verbal and written communication skills to convey information that may be complex to others who may have limited knowledge of the subject in question.
- Individually delivering Kinaxis Maestro/RapidResponse solutions that require in-depth knowledge of workbook authoring, in-built analytics, data models, integrations, and Java-based scripting
- Troubleshooting complicated system issues and addressing bugs in either internally developed software or vendor-delivered solutions
- Solution testing and documentation individually as well as managing test efforts across multiple users
- Assisting end-users with interpreting the output / results from demand and supply plans / analytics
- Supporting custom reports used by the business planning team
- Operational support of daily planning cadence processes, including data collections, snapshots, BI exports, closed-loop processes, automation tasks, and plan runs
- Working with software developers to implement custom functionality as needed by the business
- Collaborating, partnering, and coordinating with a global team in IT and the business.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Functional and business process knowledge of demand and supply planning processes, ideally in the semiconductor industry. Processes could include sales & operations planning (S&OP), sales and operations execution (S&OE), integrated business planning (IBP), forecasting, consensus demand, capacity planning, inventory optimization, supply allocation, production planning /scheduling, available-to-promise (ATP) and capable-to-promise (CTP)
  • Level 2 or above Kinaxis Maestro/ RapidResponse Workbook Authoring Certification
  • Previous enterprise application experience or training in supply chain processes such as demand planning, supply planning, sourcing, procurement, manufacturing or inventory
  • Prior experience in the support and/or implementation of an integrated ERP system
  • Prior experience in the support and/or implementation of MRP applications such as Kinaxis Maestro/ RapidResponse or Oracle Value Chain Planning applications (ACSP, Demantra)
  • Ability to interface and interact with different functional and technical groups in defining and managing system solutions
  • Ability to write clear functional requirements to a level of detail that facilitates the development and implementation of system enhancements and configurations
  • Prior experience with delivering Kinaxis Maestro/RapidResponse solutions that leverage advanced analytics such as Multi-Level Search (MLS) / Automated Sourcing Intelligence (ASI), Attribute-Based Planning (ABP)
  • Prior experience authoring Kinaxis Maestro/RapidResponse composite workbooks and tuning for optimum performance
  • Prior experience with delivering Kinaxis Maestro/RapidResponse solutions that leverage capacity constraints modeling
  • Prior development/programming experience with Javascript-based Kinaxis Maestro/RapidResponse scripting, or at least prior development experience with languages such as Java or Oracle PL/SQL
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to a fast pace and dynamic changing environment
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at a given time
  • Excellent problem solving skills, particularly with regards to anticipating and solving problems, issues, or concerns before they occur or become critical.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively as an integral member of a cross-functional team
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products including SharePoint, Excel, Visio, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:
• 3+ years of IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree.
OR
5+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor's degree.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$44.23 - $66.35
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
