Overview

CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Field Service Technician – IT, to provide onsite technical support in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting desktop, laptop, printer, network, and software issues while supporting Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Cisco VPN, Citrix, and ServiceNow.

The ideal candidate has strong technical troubleshooting abilities, excellent customer service skills, and experience providing hands-on IT support.

Type: Contract

Job Title: Field Service Technician – IT

Location: Tolleson, AZ
Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Tolleson, AZ.

Pay Rate: Based on experience

Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Education: Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field required.

Requirements:

  • Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, IP phones, and conference room technology.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and network connectivity issues.
  • Support Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory environments.
  • Resolve Cisco VPN, Citrix, and remote access issues.
  • Image, deploy, and configure computers using USB and PXE methods.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
  • Manage incidents and service requests using ServiceNow.
  • Coordinate hardware installations, deployments, and replacements.
  • Assist with IT projects and Smart Hands support.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting established SLAs.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of hardware support experience.
  • 1+ year of customer-facing, onsite IT support experience.
  • Experience supporting Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory administration.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM ticketing systems.
  • Experience with Cisco VPN, Citrix, LogMeIn, and device imaging.
  • Experience supporting printers, IP telephony, and conference room technology.
