WHAT YOU WILL DO:
This role requires a unique combination of security, construction, project management, and leadership skills in the design and coordination of security systems and technology projects, to protect client assets. The Security Project Manager must think holistically about security systems and how they impact the employee and visitor experience. This role will drive standards, modernization, and lifecycle initiatives through expert management of security vendors to meet stakeholders' expectations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Establish and lead enterprise-capable project management office.
  • Develop, track, and maintain reporting of budgets, schedules, and written analysis of all assigned projects.
  • Work collaboratively with Global Facilities, Information Services (IT), Indirect Procurement, and vendors to create project SOW.
  • Manages RFP process for security components for all assigned projects.
  • Enforces global system standards by driving design and implementation excellence.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of physical security construction projects, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and perimeter security systems.
  • Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and within-budget project completion.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including general contractors, security integrators, electricians, architects, engineers, and client stakeholders.
  • Oversee installation and commissioning of enterprise security systems across corporate, data center, healthcare, and critical infrastructure environments.
  • Conduct site assessments, reviewed construction drawings, and validated security design compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Manage project risks, change orders, procurement activities, and vendor performance throughout all phases of construction.
  • Develop and maintained project schedules, milestone tracking, status reporting, and executive-level communications.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, OSHA requirements, and organizational security standards.
  • Direct testing, commissioning, and turnover activities, including system acceptance, documentation, and end-user training.
  • Monitor project budgets, controlled costs, and identified opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, progress reviews, and issue resolution to maintain project momentum and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage multiple concurrent security construction projects ranging from small site upgrades to large-scale capital initiatives.
  • Collaborate with security operations teams to ensure seamless integration between physical security systems and operational requirements.
  • Establish quality assurance processes and performed field inspections to ensure installation accuracy and adherence to specifications.
  • Support strategic planning efforts by providing project forecasting, capacity planning, and construction portfolio reporting.

  • Able to read construction drawings, including 3D (BIM)
  • Available on an on-call basis for emergencies
  • Willing to travel internationally.

Professional Expertise/ Knowledge
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred although combination of work experience and education may be accepted.
  • Project budgeting experience for small to large scale projects
  • Strong IT and systems architecture knowledge

Experience
  • 5 years+ in a similar role within a security organization
  • Working knowledge of MS Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio; SharePoint)
  • Strong and effective written and verbal communications skills, including presentations.
  • Knowledge and aptitude of automated / integrated security systems and concepts
  • Bluebeam or applicable experience
  • Servicenow or similar system knowledge

Skills
  • Strong working knowledge around access control and video surveillance
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Windows (All)
  • Service-oriented/customer-driven approach
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills
