Security Project Manager
Location: New York, NY
What You'll Do
As an Information Security Project Manager, you will drive the execution discipline that enables our security engineering and risk programs to operate at scale. You will sit at the center of security strategy, engineering delivery, and executive governance, translating priorities into structured execution and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead end-to-end complex security and technology projects, ensuring that the scope, milestones, and dependencies that are clearly defined by all stakeholders are achieved.
  • Partner closely with security, infrastructure, engineering and business stakeholders to translate project requirements into actionable success criteria.
  • Track operational and delivery metrics in collaboration with team leads and help identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting material to support Weekly 2x2 sessions, Monthly Business Reviews, and engineering forums to executive management.
  • Apply appropriate project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or a hybrid, based on project needs with JIRA experience as a must.
  • Ensure metrics and reporting data are accurate, timely, and clearly aligned to project objectives.
  • Proactively identify risks, resource constraints, and delivery challenges, escalating issues and supporting mitigation plans as needed.
  • Contribute to establishing and reinforcing project management practices within the Information Security function to promote accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement.
  • We are seeking a technology-focused project management professional with strong Agile delivery experience and a demonstrated ability to support executive-level governance.
  • A Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of project or program management experience, including a minimum of 3 years leading enterprise technology or cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Experience defining and managing delivery and operational metrics for technology teams and preparing executive-level reporting for recurring leadership forums such as weekly operating reviews and monthly business reviews.
  • A track record of partnering with technical leads to translate engineering output into clear, measurable performance indicators.
  • Experience delivering cross-functional technology initiatives in environments with formal governance structures and executive visibility.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for senior leadership audiences and exhibit a commitment to the highest ethical standards.
  • A recognized project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification preferred.
